Cookies are small files stored on your device. rituall uses them so you stay signed in, so we remember your language, and — in production — so we can understand how the public site is used.

Essential cookies

• Authentication — a session cookie (in production, a Secure cookie named for Auth.js) so we know it is you after Google sign-in. Without this, the app cannot log you in.
• Language — NEXT_LOCALE stores whether you prefer English or Bangla so pages render in the right language.

These are required for the service to work. Blocking them will break login or locale.

Analytics cookies (production)

On the live site we load Google Tag Manager, which may set Google Analytics cookies (for example _ga). These help us see which marketing pages are used, in aggregate. They are not used to sell your personal data. You can block them with browser settings, extensions, or Google’s analytics opt-out.

How long they last

The session cookie lasts for your signed-in period. The locale cookie can last up to one year. Analytics cookies follow Google’s own retention settings.

• Browser settings: block or delete cookies for this site.
• Sign out to clear the session on this device.
• Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on if you want to limit GA.
