How rituall collects, uses, and protects your account, habits, plans, tasks, and money data.

Last updated 17 August 2026

This policy explains what rituall collects when you use rituall.adilrion.com (and related subdomains), why we collect it, and the choices you have. rituall is a daily productivity app for habits, plans, tasks, personal expenses, and group trip splits. We do not sell your personal data.

Who is responsible

rituall operates this service. For privacy questions or data requests, email rituall.bd@gmail.com. You can also delete your account yourself from Settings.

What we collect

  • Account: email address, display name, and (if you use Google sign-in) the name, email, and profile image Google shares with us. Password-based accounts store a hashed password, never the password itself.
  • App data you create: habits and streaks, plans and daily steps, tasks, expense categories and transactions, budgets, savings, assets/liabilities, group trips and splits, and settings such as timezone and language.
  • Technical: IP address, browser type, and approximate device info needed to keep the session secure and debug outages.
  • Communications: emails we send you (sign-in, verification, password reset) and messages you send to support.

We do not connect to your bank. Expense tracking is manual: you type amounts and categories. We do not receive your bank login or full bank history.

How we use it

  • To create and authenticate your account, and to show your dashboard.
  • To provide the features you use (streaks, plans, tasks, money, trips).
  • To send essential service email (security and account recovery).
  • To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and understand aggregate usage via analytics (see Cookies).
  • To improve the product — we look at aggregated patterns, not at selling individual profiles.

When data is public

Your habits, money, and tasks stay private to your account. If you publish a community plan, the title, description, and plan content you marked public can appear on the website and in search results. Unpublish or delete that plan to remove it from the public gallery; search engines may take time to drop cached copies.

Who we share with

We share data only with processors that help us run the product, under contracts that limit their use:

  • Google — sign-in (OAuth) and, in production, Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics.
  • Our hosting and database provider — to store and serve the app.
  • Our email (SMTP) provider — to deliver account emails.

We disclose data if required by law, or to protect users and the service from fraud or security incidents. We do not sell personal information.

Cookies and similar tech

We use essential cookies for sign-in and language, plus analytics cookies in production. Details are on the Cookie Policy page.

Retention

We keep your account and app data until you delete the account. Some items (for example transactions moved to trash) are recoverable for a short window (typically 30 days) and then permanently removed. Server backups exist for disaster recovery and age out on a rolling schedule. After you delete your account we remove live data; residual backup copies expire with that backup cycle.

Your choices

  • Access and update profile details in Settings.
  • Delete your account in Settings — this removes your live app data.
  • Unpublish public plans from the plan itself.
  • Control analytics cookies via your browser, and Google’s ad/analytics opt-outs.
  • Email us to ask what we hold or to request deletion if you cannot use Settings.

Security

We use HTTPS, hashed passwords, session cookies marked Secure in production, and per-account data isolation. No method is perfect; please use a unique password (or Google sign-in) and tell us if you suspect unauthorized access.

Children

rituall is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, email us and we will delete it.

International processing

The service is operated from Bangladesh. Processors (for example Google) may process data in other countries. If you use rituall from elsewhere, you understand your data may be stored outside your home country.

Changes

We will update this page when the policy changes and revise the date above. Material changes may also be noted in the product.
