Language & Timezone
Configure language preference and timezone for streaks and daily resets.
rituall is built for Bangladesh and supports both Bangla and English. Your timezone determines when your habits and plans reset and how streaks are calculated.
Timezone
- Your timezone is auto-detected from your browser during sign-up.
- Change it anytime: Settings > Timezone. Pick your city or UTC offset.
- All habit and plan streaks, daily resets, and budget periods follow this timezone.
- Example: If you're in Dhaka (BST, UTC+6), your day resets at 12:00 AM BST.
Language
- Bangla (বাংলা) and English are fully supported across the entire app.
- Use the EN / বাংলা toggle at the top of the docs page to switch documentation language.
- The app interface language can be changed in Settings.
- More languages will be added in the future.
Example: Timezone behavior
- 1User in Dhaka (UTC+6) sets a Daily habit 'Walk 30 min'.
- 2They complete it at 11 PM BST. It counts for today.
- 3At 12 AM BST, the day resets. The habit appears again for the new day.
- 4User in New York (UTC-5) would have a completely different reset time.
